Compensation: $16.00-$17.00 per hour / Full-time

Position Summary:
Responsible for clean and sanitary washing, drying, organization, and proper storage of dishes, vessels, and other equipment.

The Dishwasher helps to create a positive experience for guests from the moment they enter our restaurant. The Dishwasher is personable, service-oriented, organized, high capacity, and adaptive.
A Day in the Life Of:
- Following State and County Health Code requirements for ware washing, cleanliness, sanitation, and equipment storage at all times.
- Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and structure of all areas of the kitchen and other areas as assigned.
- Completion of Dishwasher prep list daily.
- Assist in running food, bussing tables, general cleanliness of front-of-house areas
- Maintaining a professional attitude of teamwork, cooperation, communication and accountability.
- Meticulous attention to detail throughout the work shift.
- Commitment to performing daily duties e.g. opening, closing, and side work.
- Basic janitorial skills to clean up spills, broken glassware, etc. immediately.
- Willingness to report any sanitation or janitorial issues to management.
- Highly organized, managing placement of all kitchen items and dishes and mindful of need to rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear.
- Commitment to all around cleanliness.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for an extended period of time.
- Ability to work in a hot, humid environment, and be on your feet for 8+ hour shifts.
Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- No culinary experience required but is welcomed (we will provide training as needed).
