Room Attendant
All Inn Hotel | Imprint Hospitality
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation in all guest spaces, including guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned public areas. This role ensures rooms are refreshed, sanitized, and staged to brand standards, and supports long-term care of guestroom furniture, fixtures, and equipment through detailed cleaning projects. Room Attendants play a key role in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment for every guest.
Duties & Responsibilities
Guestroom Cleaning & Presentation
Remove all dirty linens from guestrooms, including sheets, pillowcases, stained blankets, bedspreads, and mattress pads.
Empty trash receptacles, clean containers, and install new liners.
Dust windowsills, clean glass, and wipe window tracks.
Check behind and inside all furniture for trash and debris.
Clean around bed bases and ensure proper placement of bedding.
Dust and clean televisions, ensuring remotes are functional.
Clean mirrors, picture frames, and glass surfaces.
Clean and organize desk areas and ensure proper placement of collateral.
Remove marks from walls and surfaces.
Clean telephones, tuck cords neatly, and ensure phones are working.
Clean radios and alarm clocks (if applicable), ensuring correct time and alarm settings.
Clean lighting fixtures, adjust lamp shades, and ensure all bulbs are working.
Clean vanities, surrounding walls, and bathroom fixtures.
Clean hair dryers (if applicable) and ensure proper placement.
Clean ice buckets, remove liners, wipe dry, and install new bags.
Dust closet areas and ensure the correct number of hangers.
Clean ironing boards, empty irons, and wrap cords neatly.
Clean and disinfect all bathroom areas, including baseboards.
Dry shower curtains and replace if damaged or mildewed; report mildew concerns.
Clean and dry tub surrounds, soap dishes, and fixtures.
Vacuum carpets and bathroom floors; trim snags as needed.
Deodorize rooms and ensure a fresh, clean presentation before exiting.
Reporting & Communication
Report excessive trash, pet evidence, damage, or unusual conditions to the Housekeeping Supervisor immediately.
Notify the Housekeeping Supervisor of all Lost & Found items.
Complete maintenance work orders daily for any needed repairs.
Organization & Equipment Care
Bring all dirty rags to laundry or designated collection areas.
Ensure spray bottles are correctly labeled and properly assembled.
Keep housekeeping carts, supplies, and vacuums neat, organized, and in good working order.
Maintain clean and organized housekeeping closets with doors closed at all times.
Other Responsibilities
Assist with special projects and deep-cleaning initiatives as needed.
Report any unsafe conditions to leadership.
Support other departments to contribute to the overall success of the hotel.
Assist with training new team members as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

You Have
Proven experience as a room attendant with strong attention to detail.
Basic understanding of cleanliness standards and chemical safety.
Knowledge of general cleaning processes and methods.
Ability to use common tools, appliances, and cleaning equipment.
Manual dexterity and strong problem-solving skills.
Good physical condition and willingness to work overtime when needed.
Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 30 pounds.
Ability to climb stairs approximately 30% of the time.
High school diploma or equivalent.
