**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk representative to join our team at the Taos Inn. The Front Desk representative will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, checking guests in and out, answering phone calls, making reservations, and assisting with any guest inquiries.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven customer service experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry is a plus
**Responsibilities:**
- Welcoming guests and checking them into the hotel
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department
- Making reservations and updating guest information in the system
- Assisting guests with inquiries and providing information about the hotel and local area
- Handling guest requests and complaints in a professional manner
- Ensuring the front desk area is clean and organized
- Collaborating with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction and a smooth operation
